Twin blast in Bajaur martyred two security officials: ISPR

RAWALPINDI – The outlawed militants have attacked on security check post that martyred at least two men, Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) confirmed.

According to an official communique issued by the ISPR on Saturday morning, the militants installed the remote controlled explosive device near the check post in Nawagai area of Bajaur.

The tragic incident also caused injuries to two security men.

There were two remote-controlled bomb attacks. In the first blast at a check post a security man was killed and one injured.

A vehicle of security forces was targeted by a remote-controlled bomb on roadside at Nawagyi area in second attack. A security man was killed and another injured in the incident.

Security has been stepped up in the area after attacks on security men. The forces have launched a search operation to arrest the attackers.
