Pakistan Air Force training air craft crashed in Karachi, two dead

KARACHI – According to preliminary reports and eyewitness accounts, the Pakistan Air Force’s fighter jet used for training cashed near Baldia Ittehad Town area of metropolis that killed at least two people.

The reports confirmed that a fighter jet crashed near bus terminal and currently on fire.

Police and rescue officials have reached the place of incident. However, it should be mention here that plane crash has caused many buses stationed at the terminal to catch fire.

At the time of incident there were few people near the bus terminal among them one lost his life while others receive burn injuries. The other deceased was believed to the trainee pilot. Injured were shifted to the Civil Hospital.

Hospital sources confirmed that injured receive burn wounds and were in critical situation.

Pakistan Air Force officials confirmed that the Miraj plane was on the scheduled training flight. The pilot lost the control just moments before the landing. Control Tower of Pakistan Ari Force also confirmed that training air craft lost the communication before the crash.

Air Force also confirmed that there were trainee pilot and trainer in the air craft. However, Air Force’s officials could not confirm about the condition of the both pilots.

Moreover, the rescue sources confirmed that one of the deceased was wearing the uniform.
