PIA airbus collides with truck at Karachi international airport

ISLAMABAD – The national flag carrier continues its drive to amazing incidents as another aircraft had collision with a truck on Karachi International Airport’s runway.

According to the sources from Quaid-e-Azam International Airport, a PIA’s airbus collide with a truck due to over speed on Saturday.

Sources also claimed that the airbus were being grounded after the incident for the maintenance.

However, the PIA sources also confirmed the incident terming it a ‘minor’ hit. PIA official, when contacted denied that aircraft was being grounded. According to his version the airbus was sent to Mumbai as flight PK-274 after the maintenance.

Its pertinent mention here similar incident had also taken place at Islamabad Airport where two static aircraft received damages after being hit the vehicle.
