University teachers bunk to roads, raise voice against PPP govt

KARACHI – The teachers of Sindh’s universities comes on street to protest against the controversial Sindh Universities’ Act but all they found was containers’ walls on their way.

Correspondent reports from Karachi suggest that administration already had an idea about the possible rally of university teachers on Wednesday.

Therefore, the route to Chief Minister house was blocked by placing containers. When teachers gathered to march towards CM house all they found was barriers.

Moreover, the police also stopped the buses carrying teachers to the venue of protest.

It was also reported from the protest site that most of the teachers were from Karachi University.
