QUETTA- The Pakistan Army has spoken against the Afghan Intelligence role in sponsoring Baloch separatist for the first time when Lt General Nasir Khan Janjua lashed western neighbor.
The Commander Southern Command Balochistan Lt General Nasir Khan maintained that Afghan intelligence was behind the unrest in Balochistan.
Top military official claimed with responsibility that Afghan intelligence is involved in target killing of different people in Balochistan. He said that the foreign intelligence agency backs the handful separatist elements, who tend to break Balochistan.
It is not the Commander Southern Command, who has accused Afghan intelligence, but numerous officials have been alleging Indian intelligence agency RAW too, for causing panic in the province.
It has also been alleged that Indian and Afghan agencies have set training camps in Afghanistan, where Baloch separatist are trained and equipped to fight against Pakistan armed forces.
On May 19, when law enforcers captured a supply of heavy weaponry near Gulistan area of Afghanistan-Pakistan border, the interior minister of Balochistan also accused that Afghan intelligence agency had established at least 34 training camps for miscreants.
PakistanTribe reported on March 26 that Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI), while briefing over the situation in Balochistan, straightforwardly termed involvement of ‘foreign hands’ responsible for the insurgency in Balochistan.
