Two former Pakistani premiers to be indicted for corruption by NAB court


ISLAMABAD – The Accountability court all set to indict two formal premiers of Pakistan along with former Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA)’s chief and business tycoon Aqeel Karim Dhedhi.

According to the National Accountability Bureau (NAB)’s court in Islamabad, eleven out of twelve accused were indicted for making billions of rupees in OGRA Scandal.

The Jusge Mr Bashir indicted the two formal premiers Yousuf Raza Gilani, Raja Pervez Ashraf, Former OGRA’s chief Tauqir Sadiq, business tycoon Aqeel Karim Dhedhi along with others in the reference. However, one Advocate was released for non-availability of sufficient evidence.

The judge of NAB court ordered all accused along with two former premiers to appear for the hearing in next hearing on June 2nd, 2014.

The OGRA’s former chief Tauqir Sadiq was indicted for illegal and out of the turn appointments and issuing illegal licenses of CNG stations.
