KARACHI – The chief of Jamat-e-Islami (JI) Sirajul Haq has solved the problem of Altaf Hussain by giving him a unique offer to get National Identity Card (NIC) from Peshawar.
Sirajul Haq, who is also the provincial minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhuwa (KPK), offered Altaf Hussain to get his NIC from Peshawar if federal government not willing cooperate in this regard.
Siraj was addressing a rally in country’s largest metropolitan city on his first visit after being elected JI’s chief.
He said “We can solve Mutahidda Qaumi Movement (MQM) supremo’s problem if the government is not cooperating with him. If he is really willing to return to Pakistan then we can get him an NIC from KPK.”
Its pertinent to mention here that MQM had been protesting ever since federal government delaying the issuance of NIC to Altaf Hussain. Even on Sunday, MQM held a mammoth rally in Karachi to show solidarity with Altaf Hussain.
