Imran Khan

FAISALABAD – The chief of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan has announced that Tsunami of Insafiyans would not be stopping anytime soon and its going to hit Sialkot on June 7 amid protests against the alleged rigging in elections.

Imran Khan made the announcement during his speech in Faisalabad’s protest attended by thousands.

Khan’s speech contained nothing new in context which he had not already said. However, once against he spoke against the former chief justice of Pakistan Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry.

While doing so he accused former chief justice, and Mir Shakeelur Rehman (owner of Geo and Jang group) of fixing the match in general election of 2013. He also reiterated that recounting of four constituencies would confirm the rigging and then whosoever were involved in it must be tried under Article Six (High Treason).

Previously, Khan abstained from speaking against the former chief justice of Pakistan in his D-Chowk’s address. The PakistanTribe quoted very authentic sources from within PTI who then confirmed that Khan was asked to spare Iftikhar Chaudhry.

According to the party sources, Advocate Hamid Khan, Justice (rtd) Wajihuddin Ahmad, Ahmad Awais and Latif Yousafzai were among the antagonists of Khan’s idea that former Chief Justice of Pakistan Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry was part of alleged rigging plan in May 2013 general elections.
