According to officials, chairman Pakistan Cricket Board Najam Sethi called on Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif in Lahore today and apprised him on cricket affairs.
Sethi was removed from the post last week on directives of Islamabad High Court, which ordered restoration of Zaka Ashraf on the post.
However, later on, Supreme Court of Pakistan intervened to annul restoration of Zaka Ashraf. The sudden changes in the post have also confused cricket officials and players who are undergoing a summer camp for upcoming tournaments and series.
The PM, taking interest in the issue, gave time to Sethi today to direct him about cricket issues for its improvement at national level.
Nawaz Sharif is also the patron-n-chief of the PCB.
