The world’s largest video sharing portal announced that it was going to introduce some new features in upcoming months with a special app for managing users channels.
Other features include a new way for users to give money to content creators as well as crowdsourcing captioning, CNET reported.
“The new features are a result of a survey YouTube conducts twice a year to gather feedback from its online stars,” Matt Glotzbach, YouTube’s director of creator product management.
“Your biggest request? You want to hear about the new stuff we’re working on ahead of time, so you can tell us if we’re heading in the right direction. “Well, your wish is our command.”
The direct payment option will make content creators less dependent on money from advertising.
But how long Pakistani content creators have to wait for this opportunity, is still unknown.
