Karachi continues to bleed despite promises to curb culprits

KARACHI – Even the Big-Three meeting over deteriorating law and order situation could not make any difference and city of lights received six more dead bodies.

According to information gathered by correspondent of PakistanTribe from Karachi the murders took place in different areas including Manghopir, Orangi Twon and Gulbahar localities.

Correspondent informed that two bodies were found from Hassan Colony area of Gulbahar. The two persons are said to be killed by firing and yet to be identified.

Another body was recovered from Manghopir area. The deceased person was identified as Qari Barkat Ali, who was a prayer leader at a local mosque.

In another incident, two brothers named Amanullah Qadri and Ameenullah Qadri were shot dead at Orangi Town Sector No 11 According to Sunni Tehreek, the two siblings were representatives of the religious group.

Lastly, a woman was killed by firing at Bihar Colony of Lyari. She has not been identified as of yet.

On May 14, the Prime Minister of Pakistan Nawaz Sharif reached Karachi to attend a high level security meeting to be attended by Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif and Director General Inter-Services Intelligence (DG ISI) Lt General Zahirul Islam.

During the meeting some very important decisions were taken by political leadership and military top brass also backed the politicians to maintain law and order situation of Karachi.
