PIA stands still at Karachi as fuel supply cut off by Pakistan State Oil

AP-BEB

ISLAMABAD – The claims of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) led government for making national flag carrier stand on its feet again seems to be fading away as now the airline had been deprived of jet fuel by Pakistan State Oil (PSO) for non-payments of outstanding dues.

According to the sources and PSO authorities at Karachi International Airport stopped the supply of jet fuel to PIA planes on Tuesday.

After the suspension of supplies the flight schedule was at he verge of being delayed tremendously.

However, the PIA authority formally did not acknowledge the non-payments of outstanding dues as the soul reason behind the fuel suspension.

However, its pertinent to mention here that corruption riddled and troubled PIA was believed to be standing on its feet once again as  viable organization as per PML-N. On May 1, PakistanTribe reported that the ailing national flag carrier airline excepted an injection of $ 700 million by selling at least two of its international properties in New York and Paris.

The privatization guru of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif – Mohammad Zubair – claimed that the sale of Roosevelt Hotel New York and Hotel Scribe Paris are likely to be sold out within nice months.
