Militants damage railway track in Balochistan, no loss of life reported


QUETTA – Unidentified miscreants detonated a bomb near railway tracks of Bolan District, although the trach got damaged but fortunately no loss of life occurred.

The Pakistan Railways officials confirmed to PakistanTribe on Tuesday that unidentified culprits had planted explosives near the railway tracks in Dengra area of Bolan.

Officials also confirmed that blast damaged the track which would be rebuilt for the uninterrupted movements of passenger trains.

Following the blast, scheduled trains from Quetta suffered delay including Jaffar Express, Akbar Bugti Express while the trains arriving from Sindh and Punjab were also delayed.

Its pertinent mention here that on April 8, a powerful blast in one of the stationed trains at Sibi Railway station killed at least 12 passengers and injured as many as 30 as all of the train passengers were trapped inside the train-box as it caught fire.
