Musical chair with Pakistani cricket continues as PML-N jumps to protect Najam Sethi


ISLAMABAD – Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) led federal government finally jumps in to protect the chairmanship of Najam Sethi and challenge the reinstatement of Zaka Ashraf as chairman Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB).

According to the details the lawyer of Federal Ministry of Inter-Provincial Coordination, Asma Jahangir, has challenged the decision of Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Tuesday.

The petition maintained that apex court must overturn the decision of one bench member.

Islamabad High Court (IHC) issued to the complete verdict of the case comprised of 28 pages.

In the verdict the IHC categorically mentioned that appointment of Najam Sethi was illegitimate and based on dishonesty. It also overturned all the decisions taken by Najam Sethi while in charge.
