Karachi witnesses seven dead bodies, police arrest none involved

KARACHI: The largest metropolitan city of country witnessed dance of death on its roads as seven more people were indifferently killed and two others injured in separate incidents of violence.

According to the details gathered by PakistanTribe‘s correspondent on Saturday, the four unidentified men aged 25, 35, 30 and 40 years were killed when some armed men opened fire on them in Khamesa Goth area of New Karachi.

The rescue workers shifted bullet riddle bodies to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for medico legal formalities and identification.

Separately, another two unknown people aged 20 and 25 were shot dead by unidentified armed men near Singo Lane of Lyari.

The bodies were shifted to Civil Hospital Karachi for an autopsy.

Moreover, a mutilated body of a man identified as Ijaz, 30-year-old, was found near Filter Plant in Steel Mill area.

It was shifted to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Center for postmortem.

Another teenager Rashid, 17-year-old was injured when unidentified gunmen opened fire on him near Siddiqui Autos in Hijrat Colony. He was taken to Civil Hospital for medical treatment.

A man named Zulfiqar, 25 was shot and injured while resisting a robbery attempt near Sara Pump in Lyari. He was also brought to Civil Hospital for medical treatment.

Karachi police failed to make any arrest or identify culprits involved in any of the above crimes.
