ISLAMABAD – The already in turmoil national flag career has met a very strange accident today when a moving truck hit at least two static planes at Islamabad Airport.
According to a source from Civil Aviation Authority (CAA), the incident took place on Friday morning when a heavy vehicle hit the two air crafts of Pakistan International Airlines (PIA).
According to the source the planes received heavy damages in the accident and were immediately grounded.
When contacted, PIA authorities confirmed the incident. According to the PIA authorities both planes were scheduled at Northern Areas and Southern Punjab’s routes. When asked how the national flag career would compensate the passengers on these two routes now, PIA authorities did not give any satisfactory reply.
