Summer 2014: Punjab defeats Sindh with 11 days of Summer Holidays


LAHORE – The Punjab defeated Sindh by announcing eleven days extended Summer Vacation for schools and colleges of the province starting from 1st June 2014.

According to an official circular by Punjab Education Department, all government and private schools and colleges of Punjab would remain close from 1st June to 15 August 2014.

Punjab’s summer vacation has 11 more days as compared to Sindh’s summer vacation.

On May 13, Sindh Education Department announced holidays from 1st June to 4 August 2014. Sindh rescheduled the holidays plan due to fall of Ramzan in July.

Although the summer vacation is meant for all schools and colleges but some private institutes have arranged summer camps for recreational and educational activities.
