Televised reports of different mainstream media outlets quoted the political administration of Khyber Agency who confirmed the attack near Af-Pak border. But it could not be determined whether the prime targeted area was inside Pakistan’s territory or Afghanistan.

PakistanTribe learnt from the feet on ground that Naziyan area was a strong hold of Mangal Bagh’s outlawed militant group of Lashkar-e-Islam. It was also confirmed that US drone fired a total of three missiles at target. It was also said that at the time of attack Mangal Bagh was present in the area.

Official confirmation regarding any casualties are yet to be confirmed.
