LAHORE – The national political arena of country might witness grand waves as Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q) all set to form a grand alliance against Nawaz Sharif led federal government.
According to the details retrieved by PakistanTribe, Imran Khan made contact with Ch Shujaat Hussain and Chaudhry Pervez Elahi over telephone to discuss the prospects of alliance in offing.
Imran Khan and Ch Brothers laid down the mechanism of a delegation lever meeting between the leaders from both sides. On May 14 a three-member PTI delegation consisting of President Makhdoom Javed Hashmi, Vice-Chairperson Shah Mahmood Qureshi and Central General Secretary Jehangir Khan Tareen will meet Ch Brothers in Islamabad to discuss the formation of the alliance and the start of a movement against the federal government.
During the telephone conversation, the PML-Q leaders reportedly said that their party will support PTI and do anything and everything for the progress of Imran’s agenda.
The former ruling party, PML-Q, jumped in to support Imran Khan on May 9 at the time when PTI’s coalition partner in KPK Jamat-e-Islami (JI) backed off from supporting the D-Chowk rally.
Later, the amir (chief) of JI Sirajul Haq categorically turned down any possibility of joining any anit-democratic alliance.
