Mysterious sack-packed corpses give fear waves in Peshawar

PESHAWAR: Mysterious dumped dead bodies of a young girl and a teenage boy were found in a rainwater nullah which created feared of another incident of brutal honor killing.

Police sources confirmed on Tuesday that two bodies were recovered from from a sack dumped in rainwater nullah in Hayatabad area of Khyber Pakhutkhuwa (KPK)’s capital city.

On receiving the information about the sack-packed bodies, police reached the site and opened it to fine corpses of a boy, aging between 16 and 18 years and a girl aging between 22 and 24 years. Both bodies, which were believed to be thrown at least one night ago, bore signs of torture.

The preliminary investigations revealed that the girl’s body was partially burnt which has led the police to believe that the killers attempted to burn it after she was murdered.

Further Investigation was now underway. So far, the police was clueless about the reasons behind the double murder, however fearing that it was the result of honor killing.
