Lovely weather turned sour as lightening killed four in Punjab

ISLAMABAD – At least four people have been reportedly died in the incidents of lightening during on-going downpour in Punjab, confirmed local administration.

Televised reports suggested that incidents took place in Kahuta and Arifwala of Punjab.

In both incidents, according to televised reports, the houses of the victims were struck by lightning which resulted in their death.

The deceased in Kahuta were identified as Muhammad Hafiz and Muhammad Shakil. However, the two dead from Arifwala have not been identified as yet.

According to Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), the downpour in scattered areas on Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhuwa (KPK) and Azad Kashmir for coming 24 hours.
