After D-Chowk protest, Imran Khan disowned Insafiyans in court

LAHORE – The chief of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Inaf (PTI) Imran Khan has categorically disowned the Insafiyans who on May 7 ‘dishonored’ the sanctity of Lahore High Court when he appeared for a hearing.

According to a written reply submitted by the the lawyer of Imran Khan in Lahore High Court (LHC) on Monday, the Khan completely disowned any relation with those Insafiyans who created chaos in the court.

Khan maintained that those dishonored the the court had no relation with PTI. He also expressed sorrow over what happened in LHC on May 7.

Previously, LHC’s Chief Justice Umar Ata Bandial showed grave concern over the attitude of PTI workers for creating chaos and raising slogans inside the court room.

Justice Bandial left the court room and directed the lawyer of Imran Khan, Ahmed Owais maintain the dignity of the court. “No such attitude is tolerable in court,” he added in his brief comment while hammering on the desk.

Moreover, one Barrister Asjad Saeed had moved the LHC to ban Imran Khan’s entrance in courts for his disrespectful attitude towards judiciary.
