ISLAMABAD – The Federal Interior Minister and leader of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Chaudhry Nisar has seemed to be pretty impressed by the attitude and ‘sense of responsibility’ demonstrated by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI)’s workers.
The appreciation came through an official statement released by the Ministry of Interior in which he admired Insafiyans.
Nisar also expressed satisfaction over security arrangements made by the police and security and law-enforcement agencies for the public meeting.
“It is a matter of satisfaction that despite security threats, the federal and provincial institutions worked in a disciplined manner, and no untoward incident was reported from any part of the country,” said the minister.
“This reflects that despite having serious political differences, the two sides [the government and the PTI] demonstrated political maturity and open-heartedness,” the minister said, praising the PTI workers for showing discipline and a sense of responsibility.
This is the beauty and power of democracy that one opposition party recorded its protest, and the government not only facilitated it with an open heart, but provided complete security and protection,” added.
