KARACHI – The famous philanthropist of Pakistan Abdul Sattar Edhi requires a donor for kidney transplant, however, after dialysis his condition declared to be normal.
Abdul Sattar Edhi, on Saturday, put full stop to the rumors of his death and termed any such news as the conspiracy against welfare works his organization was doing to the masses.
Edhi’s doctor and famous specialist of kidney related diseases in Pakistan, Dr Adeeb Rizvi said that if found any donor then transplant could be made.
However, Edhi maintained that no such decision was yet made.
He requested the public to not to pay heed to such unfounded claims adding that forwarding such claims was unethical.
Rumours spread like wildfire on both traditional and social media over the last few days that the 86-year-old philanthropist was admitted to an Intensive Care Unit, and later passed away. While Edhi is known to visit the hospital for routine check-ups and dialysis, such speculation has haunted him on multiple occasions now.
