The awareness sessions were organized in 35 female colleges across Pakistan enlightening thousands of girls about pain management and its related complications.
This unique campaign, Hello Life! Say Bye to Pain effectively engages the young audiences as female theater actors conduct a play focusing on highlighting issues most girls are not comfortable talking about. The campaign helps create awareness about common issues girls face whilst growing up and stresses upon the preventive steps encouraging them to adopt a healthy and productive lifestyle.
A number of prominent colleges were covered as a part of this campaign, which was kicked off in Karachi and concluded recently in Islamabad. Pfizer focuses on creating public service campaigns to disseminate key information about prevention and management of various diseases and health conditions.
Commenting on the initiative, Sana Adeel from Pfizer Pakistan said, “Pfizer Pakistan strongly advocates empowering the woman of today and helping her take control of her problems. We encourage them to consult healthcare professionals, as needed, to improve the quality of their lives. This is an innovative initiative to reach out to the society and deliver an important message to women who suffer from these issues at an early age. The plan is not only to raise awareness but also to educate them with solutions regarding pain management. Girls in our society do not have ready access to information and this campaign addresses that problem appropriately.”
Apart from the theater enactments, female healthcare professionals were also engaged talking to college students about their health problems and provided consultation on pain management. The campaign received an overwhelming response from the attendants throughout Pakistan.
