American spy still in Karachi, appears before court to clear his name

KARACHI – The apprehended American spy of Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), Joel Cox, appeared before judicial magistrate in Malir Cantt for the hearing of case under Sindh Arms Act.

According to the courts correspondent, Saturday, the spy was brought in the court exact on time but under heavy security.

Telling the details of the proceeding, PakistanTribe‘s correspondent informed that showing traditional procrastination, Karachi police failed to present the chalaan in court.

However, the judicial magistrate ordered police to present the chalan and the accused in the court on April 19.

Joel Cox was arrested on May 1 from Karachi airport when he was trying to board Islamabad bound plane. PakistanTribe reported that Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Malir Cantt Rao Rizwan said that arrested American had a 90-day visit visa on his passport and he entered Pakistan on May 1, 2014.
