NEW YORK – Would you take a ride on this death-defying swing that hangs over the edge of the world? If yes then you have a golden chance.
The wooden seat held up with two pieces of rope has no seat belt or safety harness leaving those who try it just one slip from certain death.
Despite the danger, those brave enough to take on the daring swing will have some of the best views of Ecuador, including nearby volcano Mount Tungurahua.
The simple invention hangs from an old tree house 2,660 meters over a deep cliff and is not for the faint hearted.
Silvia Puchovska, 30, found the swing as she travelled through Ecuador.
The Slovakian photographer and marketing project manager said if you play it safe, the swing “should” be okay.
She said: “We decided to visit because we like to hike and it sounded pretty incredible to swing at an elevation of 2,660 metres.”
