NEW YORK – After winning the FIFA Ballon d’Or award, now Cristiano Ronaldo also become the most highest-paid footballer of the year.
He earned $73 million in salary, bonuses and endorsement income in 2013 to take the top spot on Forbes list of the world’s highest-paid soccer players.
According to the report, Ronaldo have $49 million salary and additional $24 million for endorsements.
Lionel Messi on number two, who earned 65 million dollars in 12 months.
Swedish striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic are on number 3, who earned 34 million dollars.
Brazilian star Neymar Jr. in number 4 with 28 million dollars earning, and Colombian striker Radamel Falcao on number 5 with hefty 26 million dollars earning.
Gareth Bale in number 6, Wayne Rooney on 7th, Sergio Aguero on 8th, Yaya Toure on 9th and Fernando Torres capture 10th spot.
