KARACHI – The city police once again came under attack of armed miscreants as at least two policemen along with one Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) received injuries as a hand grenade was hurled at them.
According to the corespondent reports, three policemen were appointed at routine duty in Sarjani Road area on Monday when miscreants attacked them.
The ASI was seriously injured and other two policemen received minor injuries.
The wounded were immediately shifted to the hospital and taken care of. Later police and Sindh Rangers conducted a search operation at Sarjani Road area of metropolis.
Earlier on April 24, the former Station Head Officer (SHO) Shafiq Tanoli was killed in a suicide attack when was present inside a shop in Old Vegetable Market of Karachi.
