Actors and filmmakers want to go down in history.

According to the report Jaws earned $260 million domestic ($7.0 million opening weekend), $470.7 million global; $1.02 billion domestic in 2014 dollars, adjusted for inflation.

On the number 2 is the Star Wars, (release date 25 May 1977), which collected $265.1 million domestic ($1.5 million opening weekend), although re-releases in the ’80s and the Special Edition in 1997 have pushed its Domestic total to $461 million, with a total worldwide gross of $775 million.

Jurassic-Park

According to the report after earning $402.4 million domestic ($47 million opening weekend); $1.03 billion worldwide, Jurassic Park is rank 3.

DARK-KNIGHT-HEATH-LEDGER

The Dark Knight is on number 4, which is collect  $534 million domestic ($158.4 million opening weekend) and $1 billion worldwide.

E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial on number 6, which is able to collect 435.1 million domestic ($11.8 million opening weekend) and $792.9 million worldwide.

Forrest-Gump

$329.7 million domestic ($24.5 million opening weekend); $677.4 million worldwide, give the number 7 spot Forrest-Gump.

Film Ghostbusters has number 8, with the box office collections total $238.6 million domestic ($13.6 million opening weekend), $291.6 million global; $568.5 million domestic in 2014 dollars, adjusted for inflation.

Animal House on number 9, which is able to collect $141.6 million domestic ($276,528 opening weekend in 12 theaters.)
