PTI Insafiyans

ISLAMABAD – The herald of polls rigging, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has lost one lawmaker in National Assembly as the Election Tribunal suspended membership of Qaiser Jamal from NA-47 tribal areas over rigging charges.

The ET suspended the membership of Qaiser Jamal on Monday and ordered re-poll in the constituency.

Qaiser Jamal’s victory was challenged by independent candidate Abid Rahman, whose petition was pending with the ET. The petition was heard by Justice Yahya Zahid Gilani.

Justice Gilani suspended Qaiser Jamal’s membership of National Assembly and ordered repolling.

NA-47 has registered vote bank of around 131,000 people.
