‘Unknown’ miscreants active in Karachi after four MQM workers murdered

KARACHI – The metropolitan police searching for ‘unknown’ miscreants involved in violence, chaos and forced shutdown of businesses as four dead bodies were identified as Mutahidda Qaumi Movement (MQM)’s workers.

According to the reports collected from many areas in Karachi, within one hour of the news, ‘unknown’ miscreants started firing gunshots and forced local business owners to close their shops.

Aerial shots were reported from the strongholds of MQM and including Malir, North Nazimabad, Saddar, SITE area, Clifton and Shahrah-e-Faisal.

Police sources confirmed that they have been trying to arrest the unknown miscreants involved in the illegal closure of bussiness and aerial firing.

Similar news of chaos were reported from the city of Hyderabad where petrol pumps and local businesses were forcefully shut down.

Earlier, MQM confirmed that four of its workers were brutally murdered and dumped in Memon Goth area. MQM identified the deceased as Sameer, Ali Haider, Faizan and Salman Qureshi.

Four mysterious dead bodies were recovered from a dumping site in Malir’s sub-urban area of Memon Goth. The residents of area informed the police about the dead bodies. Preliminary police investigation revealed that all four deceased men were killed after being kidnapped and tortured.

Police also confirmed recovering bullet shells of infamous 9 MM pistol and TT gun. Most of the miscreants in Karachiuse the two makes in their criminal activities.
