Nawaz Sharif turned down his own words, orders to restore electricity of Supreme Court

ISLAMABAD – Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has turned down his own words to held everyone accountible without any fear and ordered to restore the the power supply to Supreme Court building which was cut earlier for not paying the outstanding dues.

According to the correspondent details, State Minister of Power and Water Abid Sher Ali had ordered Islamabad Electricity Supply Company (IESCO) to disconnect the power supply to supreme court building along with at least 17 other government departments.

Correspondent confirmed that power supply to Supreme Court building was disconnected when honorable judged, including the Chief Justice Tasadduq Hussain Jilani, were present in the building.

It was also learnt that Registrar Supreme Court ordered Pakistan Works Department (PWD) to immediately pay the outstanding dues in terms of electricity bill of IESCO. PWD was responsible to pay the utility bills on behalf of Supreme Court of Pakistan.

Moreover, receiving the news of power cut to Supreme Court of Pakistan, the UK bound premier ordered to immediately restore the supply.
