‘Target Killers have office at Tariq Road area of Karachi’

KARACHI – The Special Investigation Unit (SIU) of Karachi Police has arrested five alleged target killers from Tariq Road areas who were working as a private office in the famous commercial area.

The announcement came from the Additional Inspector General of Police (AIG) Shahid Hayat Khan on Friday afternoon.

Shahid revealed that the alleged target killers have links with one outlawed militant group Sipah-e-Muhammad. “They have been working at Tariq Road area with the name FN Enterprises to camouflage their true identity. They had high tech spying equipment. They used to spy on their targets and take their pictures from a secret camera fitted in a cap,” Shahid added.

The mastermind of the target killer gang was identified as Muhammad Irfan alias Baba Jee.

Shahid Hayat also revealed that pictures of at least twenty people were recovered from the office which the group wanted to target. The group was using licensed weapons to target their victims, added AIG Shahid.

The preliminary investigation revealed that nature of targets of the arrested group were sectarian.
