Bollywood violates women rights in India, revealed Kangana Ranaut

MUMBAI – The famous emerging Bollywood heroine Kangana Ranaut has revealed that no matter how much talented an actress would be but the decision to cast her in any film is always signaled from the leading male actor.

Kangana Ranaut maintained in an interview that Bollywood culture severely violates the women rights and does not consider the talent as deciding factor to cast an actress.

“Hero of the movie was called to ask which heroine to be casted with him. Sometimes he was given options to chose the ‘appropriate’ heroine,” said Kangana.

“I have been deprived from a lot of characters/role in movies due to this practice. This is not a right way to cast an actress. That is why Bollywood has always been dominated by male actors,” she added further.

She, however, stated that there were still a few directors in Bollywood who treat actress equal to men. He admired Mr Perfect Amir Khan for believing in equal rights for men and women in Bollywood.
