WEB DESK – The Pakistan armed forces have conducted the brief military operation in the Khyber Agency of Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA) and hit the hideouts of outlawed militants responsible for killing several innocent lives.

According to the military sources, the air strikes were conducted in Khyber Agency early morning on Thursday.

The ground sources have also confirmed that jet fighters have bombarded the hideouts of militants in wee hours that left heavy losses in the militants’ lines.

The official source also confirmed that operation was conducted after credible tip off that those involved in terror attacks of Islamabad Vegetable Market, Charsadda attack on KPK police and suicide attack on security forces in FR Peshawar region were hiding in safe houses of Khyber Agency.

Its worth mentioning here that well before the revived wave of terror attacks in settled cities, intelligence agencies have warned that outlawed militant group Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) could plan attacks in Peshawar, Islamabad and Quetta.

The report also claimed that after the attacks outlawed TTP would never claim the responsibility rather its fractions would come forward.
