Much Awated Alliance: MQM-PPP to get politically wed tonight


WEB DESK – The much awaited political marriage in shape of revival of alliance between Mutahidda Qaumi Movement (MQM) and Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) would happen tonight at Governor House of Sindh where MQM nominees of provincial ministers and advisers would take oath. 

The governor house of Sindh confirmed on Tuesday that oath taking ceremony would take place this evening.

According to the sources privy to MQM, there would be three provincial ministers of the party in Sindh’s cabinet. The ministers would be and their portfolios are:

  • Faisal Sabzavari for Youth Affairs
  • Rauf Siddiqui for Commerce
  • Saghir Ahmed for Health

Besides the three ministers, the Adil Siddiqui and Abdul Haseeb advisers would take oath as special advisers to Chief Minister Qaim Ali Shah.

In the previous tenure of MQM had the same ministries.

Sources also confirmed that three additional ministers would take oath in coming days.

Tonight at 7 pm, Governor Sindh Dr Ishratul Ebaad Khan would take oath from MQM’s nominated ministers.
