Summer Relief: NEPRA reduced electricity tariffs for all Pakistan

WEB DESK – The National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) has finally announced a little relief for Pakistan’s electricity consumer while fixing Fuel Price Adjustment (FPA) lower at Rs 1 for a unit in the month of May 2014.

Official communique issued by the authority maintained that due to reduced price of petroleum goods for previous month and expected reduced price in coming months, the electricity tariffs were readjusted.

The consumers would not be able to avail the reduced tariffs in the month of May.

NEPRA convened an important session on Tuesday to readjust the tariffs.
