Powerful blast outside govt building in Chaman, no casualties so far


WEB DESK – The already security riddled western province of Pakistan has been attacked by a powerful bomb blast in Chaman region, however, preliminary reports suggest that there were no casualties.

According to the police and rescue security,  a huge explosion took place on Monday as it was planted on a motorbike parked near Deputy Commissioner’s office.

The explosion critically injured a woman and a girl child.

Earlier today, unknown gunmen opened fire at a private car – land cruiser – on Monday morning which killed two passengers including one motor biker passing by the scene.

Police then shifted the bodies to near by hospital which believed to be of young men aged between 22 and 24.

Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Sariab Road said the firing incident took place in Quetta’s Satellite Town where unknown attackers fired shot on a car carrying people.
