Shahid Afridi sets unique record this time

Afridi and Misbah tax payment LAHORE – After making dozens of records in ground, Boom Boom Shahid Afridi has made another time, but this time out of ground. 

The star batsman has paid a record Rs. 2.6 million tax to the government, official sources revealed.

This is the biggest amount from any Pakistani player on account of tax payment.

The second spot was reserved by magical spinner Saeed Ajmal , who paid about Rs. 2.1 million something to the national exchequer.

The skipper Misbah ul Haq is on number three with payment of about Rs. 2 million while Umar Akmal and Nasir Jamshed were on the fourth and fifth spot.

Pakistan considered to be a country, where most traders, businessman and big guns from all fields usually skip giving tax to the national treasure. Payment of taxes from such star players could promote the tax giving culture, experts said.
