WEB DESK – The legislators of of Sindh Assembly have shunned concept of representation when 163 members of legislative body bunked from Friday’s session and only four members appeared before the speaker Agha Siraj Durrani.
The six people presented in the assembly hall included Speaker Agha Siraj Durrani and Deputy Speaker Shehla Raza. So technically there were only four members present for the assembly session.
Speaker of the assembly made an angry remark that “I keep waiting for the members in the assembly.” Later he ordered the provincial minister of parliamentary affairs Sikandar Mahendro to talk with parliamentary leader of all parties.
Speaker also stated that members always extend their complaints to me that I do not come on time, however, I am always on time.
Then Durrani dismissed the session due to huge absence of legislators until Monday.
