Miley Cyrus might have to cancel a few more of her concerts. “We can’t stop” singer will “remain hospitalized” her rep told the media.
According to the reports, Miley Cyrus was prescribed the antibiotic cephalexin which she has now suffered an extreme allergic reaction to,” the rep said, explaining that Cyrus, 21, came down with a sinus infection while on tour in North Carolina a week ago.
“This type of extreme reaction can last from five to 27 days in these types of cases. She will remain hospitalized and is under a doctor’s care until we see some improvement in her condition and is asking for your compassion and privacy at this time.”
The singer came down with a sinus infection while on tour in North Carolina a week ago, then developed a severe allergic reaction to the antibiotics.
The singer was admitted to the hospital Tuesday, forcing her to cancel both her Kansas City and St. Louis concerts scheduled for Tuesday and Wednesday. Her next show is scheduled for Friday in Nashville, her hometown.
While Cyrus’ rep statement suggests a cancelation is imminent, the Bridgestone Arena website has not yet posted an update.
“Can’t quit crying I wanna go back on tour,” Cyrus tweeted Thursday. “I’m meant to be onstage performing for y’all…. not laying in a hospital bed.”
The “Wrecking Ball” star also shared a second photo from her hospital bed to Instagram.
