Spiritual farther of Taliban Samiul Haq tells outlawed TTP to practice patience

SAMIUL HAQ

WEB DESK – The spiritual father of outlawed Taliban militants Maulana Samiul Haq has advised banned outfit Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) to practice patience as delay and complaints are part and parcel of negotiation process.

The leader of his own religious-political group Jamiyat Ulmae-e-Islam-Sami (JUI-S) stated on Thursday that delay and complaints from both sides of peace dialogues were not out of usual.

However, he maintained that government should prioritize the sensitive matter of peace dialogues.

Outlawed Taliban had honored Sami with the title of ‘Masiha of Peace’ for his active role in bringing government to terms of negotiations.

Earlier, the outlawed Taliban appointed negotiator and leader of Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Professor Ibrahim had confirmed on Thursday that contact with outlawed TTP could not be made after the group announced to cancel the ceasefire with government.

Yesterday, the outlawed militant group announced to cancel the ceasefire with government of Pakistan and its security forces.
