Sindh Under Threat: Common men barred to enter Sindh Secretariat in Karachi

WEB DESK – The home department issued security threat for the province of Sindh after which Sindh Secretariat has been closed for common and unconcern people and only employees were allowed to enter the premises.

According to a letter issued on Wednesday by Sindh interior ministry, terrorists could attack important government officials and buildings.

After the warning, security at all government buildings were beefed up and entry of common people in the Sindh Secretariat.

Earlier in March, PakistanTribe reported that the security at Jinnah’s mausoleum has been beefed up amid threats to the tomb of Father ofthe Nation Muhammad Ali Jinnah.

Last year on June 15, 2013 the insurgents of Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA) – a militant outlawed organization – had carried out heinous attack on Jinnah’s residency in Ziarat. Jinnah’s residency was burnt to ashes in hand grenade and rocket attacks. Militants filled the chambers of building with gas and then set it on fire after dishonoring the Jinnah’s personal monuments placed inside the building.

Moreover, the BLA released the video of attack on the even of Pakistan’s independence day later that year to further incite the feelings of Pakistan.

On March 21, PakistanTribe reported that one of the intelligence agencies of Pakistan had predicted an attack on Pakistan Minaret in Lahore.
