Amid Militray-Govt rifts Asif Ali Zardari weighed in pro-democracy alliance


WEB DESK – Big-Two weighed for pro-democracy as Co-Chairman of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) arrived in Prime Minister house to show confidence in Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) led government amid military-government rifts.

Asif Ali Zardari had arrived in Prime Minister house to meet Nawaz Sharif over a lunch on Wednesday afternoon.

Zardari bought the team of his associates including Senator Raza Rabbani, Syed Khurshid Shah and Syed Murad Ali Shah.

Sources revealed that after the meeting a joint communique will be released in which both leaders would stress on upholding the democratic process.

Sources privy to both parties, maintained that issues of related to Protection of Pakistan Ordinance (PPO), Karachi Targeted Operation and Peace Negotiations with outlawed militants would also be discussed in group meetings.
