Los Angles – Hollywood star Brad Pit is ready to become the most famous and controversial U.S. Army Gen. Stanley McChrystal on screen.
Brad Pit has signed a deal with the producers to be starring in the movie adaptation of the late Michael Hastings’ explosive behind-the-scenes account of the former Army general’s fall from grace. The write up’s title is “The Operators: The Wild and Terrifying Inside Story of America’s War in Afghanistan.”
In this book, the writer gives a background story of Gen. McChrystal and White House administration rifts on 2010.
Hastings died in a car accident last year at the age of 33.
There is no production date set for the film yet, but David Michôd, who helm at 2010’s Animal Kingdom, has reportedly signed on to write the script and direct.
