‘Blood Moon’ to decorate sky as total lunar eclipse today at 10:30 am


WEB DESK – Blood moon to decorate sky in Pakistan during next week as the first complete lunar eclipse of the year 2014 is scheduled to happen at 10:30 am today but people in Pakistan would not be able to see it due to day light.

According to international astrological outlets, Tuesday’s eclipse would the first of the total two total lunar eclipse scheduled to happen in 2014.

There will be a total lunar eclipse Tuesday that will turn the moon a burnt reddish orange, NASA says.

It’s called a blood moon, and this one is just the first in a series of four consecutive total eclipses.

The four blood moons will occur in roughly six-month intervals on the following dates: April 15, 2014; October 8, 2014; April 4, 2015, and September 28, 2015.

A total lunar eclipse is seen in Karachi, Pakistan, on December 10, 2011. It was the last full lunar eclipse.
