This is the first ever visit of Korean PM since 1981, when both the states developed diplomatic ties.
The visit is significant as Pakistan could get technological and financial boost from his visit. Experts say that Pakistan, availing this opportunity, should strike a technological cooperation with S. Korea to progress towards establishing a tech giant like Samsung.
