Bomb Blast: Another vegetable market attacked in Quetta

WEB DESK – Another fruit and vegetable market was targeted by terrorists and this time in troubled Balochistan’s capital, Quetta, police sources confirmed.

A planted bomb was detonated in the Hazar Ganji fruit/vegetable market on Quetta on Saturday in its busiest hours.

Police confirmed that explosive material rigged with sharp nails was hidden inside a crate of bananas at the city’s biggest vegetable market. The crate was placed besides a consignment of fresh tomatoes which was brought from Lasbella.

Police sources also stated that there were no casualties reported from the crime scene.

Rescue workers rushed to the Hazar Ganji area to carryout all necessary measures. Meanwhile, law enforcement agencies cordon off the area and launched the investigations.
