Lahore police apologized, nine-month-old baby released from Murder case

Punjab Police

WEB DESK – Once Station Head Officer (SHO) with local police of Lahore had apologized before court for ‘mistakenly’ including the name of a nine-month-old baby boy ‘Musa Khan’ in a case of attempting murder after which court removed the boy’s name from the case.

One Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) wrongfully filed a case against Musa Khan and his whole family claiming that they attempted to assassinate him by throwing stones.

Musa was charged with attempted murder along with his father and grandfather after a mob protesting against gas cutsand price increases stoned police and gas company workers trying to collect overdue bills.

However, Musa Khan had to appear before somewhat dysfunctional judicial system and corrupt police of our country for at least once to make them realize there was something wrong with the report.
